WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT!
IN 1973, I answered and ad in the paper for a 5 year old spayed
Bulldog Bitch. I bought her and within 3 months, I had puppy
was a good brood bitch and pet, as often times puppy was a

on though, I was HOOKED and had a Kennel Name of Caly's
Bulldogs. In 1989, I changed the spelling to CALEES...Short for
Catherine Lee.

Then in 1994, I discovered the French Bulldog and like the
Bulldog, I couldn't have JUST ONE. I bought 2 and now have
both breeds and madly in love with both of them!

I am in the Bulldog Hall of Fame with 13 home bred Champions. I have a bitch that
is in the Hall of Fame, CH Caly's JC's Strawberry Fizz, having been the dam of 5
champions. I have finished a total of 19 Bulldogs and 5 French Bulldogs and
championships. I have several that I have bred and co-owned that have finished
their championships.

When I married Ray in 1989, he had never been to a dog show, never owned a suit or had a
dog in the house. BUT I thought he might be trainable. I sold his pickup truck(while he was
away on his job, as he is a truck driver) and I bought a SHOW VAN and a suit. I had recently
finished a lovely bitch ans was having so much fun in BOB and wanted to stay in the
specials ring. I also shortly before this had gotten a beautiful male puppy SO a the 3 day
Durango shows, I dressed Ray up, in his new suit, handed him the lead and pushed him into
the ring with this young pup.

| TO ALL OF OUR SURPRISE, he took Winners Dog all 3 days... EVEN BEAT ME FOR BREED with his 7 month old puppy. It didn't tak a food to see........... HE WAS HOOKED!!! |
Our home consists of 4 French Bulldogs and 3 Bulldogs. ALL of them are pets first,
and show dogs second. Occasionally, I will breed a litter of use one of the boys for
stud. ALL of my dogs and bitches are health tested and I will ONLY breed to bitches
that have also been tested!
Ray and I are MEMBERS of The Bulldog Club of Denver and I belong to The Bulldog
Club of America as well as The French BUlldog Club of America.
